THE KISSING INSTALLATION
The Kissing Installation is touch sensitive sculpture that take the viewer on a tour of the Louvre Museum by stepping through a “on-demand” video file and audio file using a primitive stepping device. The audio file speaks words of encouragement like “way to go”, “you are looking good”, “keep it going”, etc….. while each person explores one of the world’s most illustrious collections of fine art on a computer screen in front of the stepping device. At the same time Micro Museum’s neighbors are blowing kisses towards the participant from 2 monitors that straddle the images from the Louvre.
