THE BIG CHAIR

The BIG Chair is an 8ft wooden chair originally created for Micro Museum’s arts education programming. It was known as “The Big Chair Interview” where students were permitted to climb onto the art work and Kathleen Laziza would ask them questions about what they wanted to be when they grew up.  Later the sculpture was used during NYC street fairs, events in public parks, and was a featured exhibit during the museum’s BIG IDEAS series (2009-2010).
