Brooklyn Borough President, Marty Markowitz:

Proclamation

I salute Micro Museum for reaching the legal drinking age without mishap and equally important at providing a venue for artistic expression in all it's many guises. The Laziza's reinvented the world of art and brought it into the hearts and minds of many. I commend them for being in the forefront of Brooklyn Cultural Renaissance.

CULTURE

* Micro Museum "Kind of a weirdo museum," says citysearch.com's Justin Hartung, "which is what it makes it a testament to the old hipster vibe of the neighborhood." Very Brooklyn-specific, this space is all about performing arts, and students can take classes or, if the fancy should strike, see exhibits on the glory of "chakra colors." Geeks and artists should be equally at home here. 123 Smith St.; (718) 797-3116; F, G to Bergen Street
